Prusy (Hungarian: Poroszi) is a village and municipality in Bánovce nad Bebravou District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1208.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 222 metres (728 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 7.51 km² (2.90 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 666 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 617 people by ethnicity 600 as Slovak, 14 as Not found out, 3 as Ukrainian, 2 as Russian, 2 as Hungarian, 2 as Other, 1 as Czech, 1 as Romani and 1 as Austrian.
