Pečeňany (Hungarian: Bánpecsenyéd) is a village and municipality in Bánovce nad Bebravou District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1323.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 197 metres (646 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 6.62 km² (2.56 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 545 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 521 people by ethnicity 500 as Slovak, 13 as Not found out, 9 as Czech, 5 as Romani, 1 as Rusyn and 1 as Russian.
