Bàu Bàng is a commune of Ho Chi Minh City.[1] It is one of 168 new wards, communes and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City after the reorganization in 2025.[2][3]
According to Official Letter No. 2896/BNV-CQĐP dated May 27, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bàu Bàng after reorganization has an area of 84.09km², population as of December 31, 2024 is 42,219 people, population density reaches 502 people/km² (statistical data as of December 31, 2024 as stipulated in Article 6 of Resolution No. 76/2025/UBTVQH15 dated April 14, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly[4]).
