Bình Trưng is a ward in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It is one of 168 new wards, communes and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City after the arrangement in 2025.[2][3]
Geography
Bình Trưng is located in what used to be the southwest of Thủ Đức City, it is 8 kilometers away from Saigon ward. It also borders the following wards:
- To the west, it borders An Khánh
- To the southwest, it borders Tân Thuận
- To the south, it borders Cát Lái
- To the north and northwest, it borders Phước Long
- To the southeast, it borders Long Trường
According to Official Letter No. 2896/BNV-CQĐP dated May 27, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bình Trưng after rearrangement has an area of 14.82 km2, population as of December 31, 2024 is 121,382 people, population density reaches 8,190 people/km2 (Article 6 Resolution No. 76/2025/UBTVQH15 dated April 14, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly).[4]
