2025–26 Liga 4 West Papua is the second season of the fourth-tier football competition in Indonesia organized by the Provincial Association (Asprov) of PSSI West Papua. The competition serves as the regional qualifying round for the national phase of the 2025–26 Liga 4.
Background
Following the Asprov PSSI West Papua Ordinary Congress in late 2025, the association finalized the competition roadmap for the 2025–26 season. A total of 21 member clubs are expected to participate in this edition to maintain their status as voting members (voters) within the association.[1] Under the PSSI Statutes, clubs that fail to participate in official competitions for two consecutive seasons risk having their membership suspended or voting rights revoked.[1]
During the congress, four new clubs—Mata'afa FC, PS Unipa, Ransiki FC, and Arfak United—were officially ratified as new members.[2] To prepare for the tournament, several regional branches conducted open player selections throughout January 2026.[3]
Teams
According to the roadmap from the chairman of Asprov PSSI West Papua and official club ratifications in December 2025, a total of 21 clubs are eligible to compete in the 2025–26 season. These clubs are organized by their respective regencies as follows:[4]
