White Rock is a locality in the City of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia.[4] In the 2021 census, White Rock had "no people or a very low population".[3] However, White Rock is being developed as a suburb with an initial 2,300 home sites planned.[5]
Geography
The Centenary Motorway passes through the north-west of the locality.[6]
The western half of White Rock lies with the catchment of the Bremer River and the eastern half within the Brisbane River catchment.[7]
Three sections of the White Rock Conservation Park are in the north of the locality.[8]
As at 2025, new streets and houses are being constructed in the south-west of the locality.[6] Upgrades of visitor facilities are planned for the White Rock Conservation Park to facilitate greater recreational use of the park.[9]
History
White Rock is situated in the Yugarabul traditional Aboriginal country of the Brisbane and surrounding regions.[10]

Attractions
The White Rock Conservation Park, now known as the White Rock – Spring Mountain Conservation Estate, is accessed by White Rock Drive from Redbank Plains. It is used for bushwalking and horse riding during the day. Camping and pets are not permitted.[13]
