Texila American University (TAU) is a private medical university located in Providence, East Bank Demerara, Guyana. Established in 2010, it offers undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs in medicine, public health, nursing, business, and related fields approved and regulated by the National Accreditation Council of Guyana (NACG).[1] The university is accredited by the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine (ACCM) and is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS).[2]
History
Texila American University was founded in 2010 following its registration with the National Accreditation Council of Guyana.[3] In 2017, the university opened its Providence campus, which includes laboratories, classrooms, administrative offices, and student-support facilities.[4]
