Texila American University (TAU) is a private medical university located in Providence, East Bank Demerara, Guyana. History

Texila American University was founded in 2010 following its registration with the National Accreditation Council of Guyana.[3] In 2017, the university opened its Providence campus, which includes laboratories, classrooms, administrative offices, and student-support facilities.[4]
