Studenec (Hungarian: Hidegpatak) is a village and municipality in Levoča District in the Prešov Region of central-eastern Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1264.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 463 metres (1,519 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 8.30 km² (3.20 sq mi) (2024).^[4]

It has a population of 540 people (31 December 2024).^[6]

In year 2021 was 482 people by ethnicity 464 as Slovak, 19 as Not found out, 3 as Czech, 2 as Other, 2 as Greek and 1 as Rusyn.
