South African National Halaal Authority (SANHA) is a South African non-profit organisation established in 1996 to certify halal food and products. Halal certification

SANHA examines products according to a set of Islamic dietary criteria. When a product meets the criteria, it gets certified. Certified products are permitted to display SANHA’s official halal logo on their packaging, indicating compliance with Islamic dietary requirements.[2]
