Play is the fourth studio album by the Peruvian singer-songwriter, Pedro Suárez-Vértiz, released on 6 December, 2004.[1] The album was edited in 2006 to release internationally.[2]

Critical reception

In 2004, the album was nominated in three categories for the Orgullosamente Latino Award, in which Pedro Suárez-Vértiz won the award.[3] It was also nominated for the Premio Luces by El Comercio in 2006.[4] The single "Cuando pienses en volver" became the most successful single in Suárez-Vértiz's career.[5] After the release of the album Pedro Suárez-Vértiz began to perform internationally in Europe, Japan, and the United States.
