National Highway 179B (India)

National Highway 179B (NH 179B) is a National Highway in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It functions as a spur of National Highway 79 and connects several towns in the north‑central region of the state. The highway plays an important role in regional connectivity by linking rural areas with major transport corridor.[1]

Route

NH 179B runs entirely within Tamil Nadu. The general alignment of the highway is: Tiruvannamalai, Chengam, Harur, Morappur, and Dharmapuri. the total length of the highway is 248.548 miles (400 km).[2]
