Manish Jha is a Nepalese politician who is currently serving as a spokesperson from Rastriya Swatantra Party. He has been the member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal elected as a proportional representative from the Madheshi category since 2022 Nepalese General Election.[1][2][3]
Controversies
Nakkhu jailbreak event
A video went viral after party chair Rabi Lamichhane came out of jail amidst Gen Z protests in which Manish Jha was reported to have allegedly supported the jailbreak and storming.[4]
Morang election ticket dispute
Jha reportedly gave ticket to Asha Jha removing the name of Samjhana Pandit who was put forward by regional committee. As a result his pictured were black inked and burnt by regional party members.[5][6]
Balen Sah car case
Balen used luxury vehicle Land Rover Defender of disputed businessman Kamal Kishor Malpani which was widely criticized by public.[7] Later, in an interview Jha criticized Balen's such works too.[8]
