Kunice is a railway station on the Wrocław–Gubinek railway in the village of Kunice, Legnica County, within the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in south-western Poland.

Having been opened in June 2025, the Kunice is one of Poland's newest railway stations.[1]

History

The station first opened in 1910, as Kunitz-Überholungsgleis. As a result of World War II, the station was closed and demolished in 1945. Before its 1945 demolition, the station contained a passing loop.[2]

Part of the Governmental Programme for the Construction or Modernisation of Railway Stops for 2021–2025, the station was rebuilt at a cost of approximately 6.5 million Polish Złoty.[3] The new station opened on 15 June 2025.[4]

There are currently plans to build a new pavement and bicycle path, between Ziemnice and Kunice, which will make access to the station even easier.[4]
