Kolíňany (Hungarian: Kolon) is a village and municipality in the Nitra District in western central Slovakia, in the Nitra Region.^[4]

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1113.

The municipality lies at an altitude of 199 metres (653 ft)^[3] and covers an area of 12.50 km² (4.83 sq mi) (2024).^[5]

It has a population of 1558 people (31 December 2024).^[7]

In year 2021 was 1551 people by ethnicity 908 as Slovak, 643 as Hungarian, 68 as Not found out, 5 as Rusyn, 4 as Ukrainian, 2 as Czech, 2 as Other, 1 as Romani, 1 as Austrian, 1 as German and 1 as English.
