Juwon Lawal Razaq (born 22 October 1979) is a Nigerian entrepreneur and businessman. He is the founder of Crestal Group, formerly Africent Group of Companies.[1][2]
Early life and education
Razaq was born 22 October 1979 and originally hails from Kogi State, Nigeria. He is ethnic Yoruba.[3]
Razaq acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He later went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State. He is also an alumnus of Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.[4]
Career
Razaq began working in his father’s palm kernel oil business in Kogi State, at the age of 14. After the death of his father in 1999, he assumed management of the family business.[5][4]
He officially started his career in 2005, when he founded Stevepel Energy Resources Limited. In 2009, he started S. T. & L. Bunkers, a marine logistics company that later rebranded as ABD Fuels Plc.[6] The company engaged in the production of automotive and industrial lubricants and the supply of marine fuels.[7]
In 2017, he founded Africent Group of Companies.[8] Later, in January 2025, Africent Group rebranded to Crestal Group. The group has branches in West Africa, the United Kingdom, with its headquarters in the United Arab Emirates. [9]
Razaq is also the chief executive officer of JuwonOil LLC, a trading and brokerage company based in Houston, Texas.[10][11]
Recognition
In 2020, he joined the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) as a United Nations Eminent Peace Ambassador.[12]
