Judan Suki and 1984

The bands Judan Suki and 1984 were an English rock band featuring later members of Reverend and the Makers[1] and Arctic Monkeys[2]. Members of Judan Suki and 1984 went on to form Arctic Monkeys and Reverend and the Makers and featured vocalists Alex Turner[3] and Jon McClure[4]. The band Judan Suki has funk influences and the band 1984 had electropop influences. The band 1984 was mentioned in the 2005 song "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor"[5] by Arctic Monkeys. The band Judan Suki derived from Japanese and the band 1984 was named after a year in the decade 1980s.
