Gustavo Zalamea

Gustavo Zalamea Traba (1951–2011) was a Colombian painter and graphic artist.

Born in Buenos Aires, Zalamea studied architecture at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and later attended the Universidad de Concepción, where he studied design and anthropology.[1] He later returned to the Universidad Nacional of Colombia, where from 2004 until 2006 he was the director of the art program.[2] Throughout his career he was the recipient of numerous awards. He died in Manaus after a bout of pneumonia.[1]
