Distracted is the upcoming fifth studio album by American musician Thundercat, set to be released through Brainfeeder on April 3, 2026.[2][3] The album will come out six years after the artist's previous LP, It Is What It Is,[3] and has been preceded by three singles: "No More Lies" (with Kevin Parker of Tame Impala), which was originally released as a standalone single in 2023,[4][5] "I Wish I Didn't Waste Your Time"[6] and "I Did This To Myself" (featuring Lil Yachty).[2][3]
The album was executive produced by Thundercat and Greg Kurstin, with additional credits from Flying Lotus, Kenny Beats and The Lemon Twigs;[2][7] it also hosted guest appearances from Tame Impala, Lil Yachty, A$AP Rocky, Channel Tres and Willow, as well as a posthumous feature by Mac Miller.[2][8]
