Ceslaw (Czesław) Jan Bojarski, (15 October 1912 – 2 May 2003), was a French Polish-born counterfeiter.

He became famous in the 1960s for his counterfeit of the 100 Francs Bonaparte banknote with an extreme fidelity, which made Le Parisien to call him The Cezanne of the counterfeit money[1][2]

Biography

Ceslaw Bojarski is born on 15 October 1912 in Łańcut in Poland. He studies in the Lviv Polytechnic then at Gdańsk University of Technology where it is said he had a diploma of Engineering and Architect.[1]

His life was the subject of the 2026 French movie L’Affaire Bojarski[3].
