Brajendra Chandra Deb (15 March 1932 – 13 January 1997) was a Bengali businessman and social worker from East Pakistan (One Unit).^[1]

Brajendra Chandra Deb was born on March 15, 1932, in the noble Deb Zamindar family. His father, Rajkumar Chandra Dev, was the eighth descendant of the Deb Zamindar family and his mother, Matangi Devi. The first Zamindar of this Zamindar family was Rajendra Chandra Deb. During the British rule in India at that time, the Sepoys started a rebellion in 1857. Which is known in history as the Sepoy Mutiny. Rajendra Chandra Dev got involved in the Sepoy Mutiny. Due to the capture of the British, he established a Zamindar house in Barachandura under Andiura Union of Madhabpur Upazila of Habiganj and later obtained a Zamindarship.

Brajendra Chandra Deb's son Kajal Chandra Deb said, "Brajendra Chandra Deb spent almost seven days walking and boating to distribute food items to people affected by the floods in his area and other places. He played a role in various social development projects and was one of the most charitable figures of the Bangladesh government's Dost and Shelter for the Helpless project."^[2]

During the British rule in India, the sepoys started a rebellion in 1857. This is known in history as the Sepoy Mutiny. Rajendra Chandra Deb got involved in the Sepoy Mutiny. Due to the British arrest, he established a zamindar house in Barachandura under Andiura Union of Madhabpur Upazila of Habiganj and later acquired zamindarship. Brajendra Chandra Deb is the ninth descendant of this zamindar house.

He died on 13 January 1997.^[3][4][5]
