The BCI (Building and Construction Information) Asia Top 10 Awards (rebranded as the Hubexo Asia Awards[1]) are annually presented in several Asian markets to developers and architectural firms, based primarily on the total architectural value of their active projects. Since its inception in 2003, the awards have been presented in multiple Asian markets, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. They are presented to developers, contractors, and architecture firms in the region.

History

The awards are presented annually to the ten developers and architectural firms with the highest total construction value of projects under active development during the preceding year.[2] According to BCI Asia, the reported construction values are adjusted to account for sustainability criteria, including green building certifications recognized by the World Green Building Council[3].[4] BCI Asia's evaluation methodology emphasizes industrial, commercial office, and hospitality projects.[5] The awards were established by Arlene "Apple" Agapay Patricio, a business analyst in Southeast Asia who is currently a financial consultant in the Philippines.
