Antorborti (Bengali: অন্তর্বর্তী, lit. 'In Between') is an upcoming Bangladeshi Bengali-language mystery-drama-romance genre film written and directed by S M Kayum, in his feature directorial debut. The story of the film is of greed, lust, hunger, social status and ego.^[1][2]

The film features Ahmed Rubel along with Neelanjona Neela, Fariha Shams Sheuti, Abu Hurayra Tanvir, Amirul Haque Chowdhury, and Rahamat Ali while Noresh Bhuiyan made an extended cameo appearance.^{[3][4][5][6][7]}

Abu Huraira Tanveer is playing the role of Dhruv and Nilanjana Neela is playing the role of Arpa.^[8] Ahmed Rubel is playing Sajal. On December 26,

2021, Ahmed Rubel was first approached about the interim and he agreed to play the role of Sajal.^[9] Masum Aziz was signed to play Abdur Rauf, Dhruv's father. But due to his cancer-related illness, the contracted work was not carried out.^[10] Later, Naresh Bhuiya played the role of Abdur Rauf.

Shooting took place at Jahangirnagar University.^[11]

The film's post-production was handled by a team of experienced Bangladeshi film technicians who brought their expertise to various aspects of the project. The editing of Antorborti was undertaken by Sameer Ahmed, who worked to shape the film's narrative structure and pacing through his editorial vision.

Sound design and mixing were completed by Sayba Talukder, who crafted the film's audio landscape to enhance the storytelling experience. The technical precision in sound work contributed significantly to the film's overall atmospheric quality. Sayba had previously worked on Rehana Maryam Noor (2021), bringing experience from that critically acclaimed production to Antorborti.

Chinnmoy Roy served as the colorist for Antorborti, bringing his established expertise in color grading to the project. Chinnmoy had also worked as the colorist on Rehana Maryam Noor, a landmark film in Bangladeshi cinema history.^[12] Rehana Maryam Noor achieved the distinction of being the first Bangladeshi film to be selected for the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival, where it competed for the section's prestigious award. The reunion of both Sayba Talukder and Chinnmoy Roy on Antorborti brought a level of technical excellence and international standard to the film's post-production, with both technicians applying the expertise they had honed on Bangladesh's first Cannes-competing film to this new project.

The music of the film was composed by Pintu Ghosh, with lyrics written by S M Kayum and tune arrangement by Rahul Kumar Datta.^{[13][14][15][16][17][18]} Ghosh also served as the music director for the film Antorborti.^[19][20]

The soundtrack features vocals by Fahmida Nabi, who performed the song "Thak Na Doorer Hue".^[21][22]

Popular singer Fahmida Nabi has lent her voice to a romantic song titled “Tor Rin” for the film Antorborti. In this song, she performs a duet for the first time with popular artist Imran Mahmudul.^[23][24][25] The lyrics are written by director S M Kayum, the composition is by Rahul Kumar Dutta, and the music arrangement is by Musfiq Litu.^[26][27][28]

MG Kibria, member of the music band Meghdal, has composed the original score for "Antorborti," marking his first film scoring project and debut collaboration with director S M Kayum. The film is currently in post-production, with Kibria bringing his musical expertise from the band to enhance Kayum's cinematic vision.

The first news regarding Antorborti was come to public on 13 February 2022 in the Jugantor newspaper with a character look photo of Neelanjona Neela and Abu Hurayra Tanvir. In that news, Neelanjona Neela said about acting in the movie, "I always enjoy working with Tanveer. Apart from that, the story of the movie is excellent."^[5]
