Agatha Marie Dorothea Tatge (born August 10, 1886; date of death unknown) was an American Lutheran missionary nurse who served in India during the early 20th century.
Education
Tatge trained as a nurse at Hackley Hospital Training School for Nurses in Muskegon, Michigan. She also pursued studies at Teachers College, Columbia University and received clinical training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. She later attended Biblical Seminary in New York.
Missionary service
From 1910 to 1921, Tatge served at the Union Mission Tuberculosis Sanatorium in Madanapalle, South India.[1]
Between 1913 and 1914, she served as Nursing Superintendent at the Lutheran Hospital in Rajahmundry.[2]
From 1922 to 1926, she served at the JELC-Lutheran Girls' School in Kotapad, in present-day Odisha.[3]
