General elections are scheduled to be held in Ethiopia on 1 June 2026.[1]
Background
The election is the first six round election to spontaneously change its term length in federal Ethiopia, the previous elections held five round since 1995.[2][3]
The National Election Board published an updated list of electoral constituencies on January 30, 2026.[4][5]
